Sales and Rentals:
Ellsworth Music Supply & Repair is Jefferson County’s first full-line music store. We have a large stock of accessories and our sheet music inventory is the largest in Jefferson County. Ellsworth carries brand name band instruments for beginners to professional, available for sale or under our easy rent-to-buy program. We also carry a fine line of orchestral instruments, accoustic, electric and classical guitars and a wide range of percussion instruments. Each location houses a repair facility specializing in restoration of guitars and stringed instruments, and offering repairs for all brass and woodwind instruments.
Ellsworth Music now carries Seagull, Hagstrom and Godin guitars. We are also now a Randall Amplifier dealer. Stacks, combos and PA systems are available.
Hammer action keyboards are for sale at reasonable prices and are available for rent too!
Guitars:
Guitars rent from $10 to $35 per month, plus tax.
Band Instruments:
Level I includes flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone and all percussion kits.
Level II includes alto sax, tenor sax, french horn, all specialty instruments and drum sets.
Stringed Instruments:
Ellsworth Music has a complete inventory of student and fine quality violins, violas and cellos. Our rental with an option to buy program is designed to accommodate the growing and progressing student. An instrument can be exchanged at anytime for another of equal or more value. Your rental payments can be applied to the instrument you have or another one of more.
Our entry-level rental program consists of our good quality basic student string instrument outfit. The level II rent/purchase program affords the student the opportunity to play a fine quality instrument and realize the maximum potential of the student’s ability. These are Doestch labeled instruments made in Germany. If the instrument is purchased we guarantee 75% to 100% of the instrument purchase towards the next sized Doestch instrument or another fine instrument of equal or more value.
Rental Plan: Level I - Minimum $50.00 deposit $25.00 per month
Rental Plan: Level II - Minimum $100.00 deposit $50.00 per month
Job Opportunities:
We are seeking qualified instructors for both locations for the following instruments: violin (teaching experience with young children, traditional or suzuki) and saxophone. Our Shepherdstown location is also seeking a piano instructor.
Applications are now being accepted for an administrative and bookkeeping position in Charles Town. Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus!
